Someone, please assist me with an ASUS crosshair viii hero motherboard running a Ryzen 5 5600X for six months. Recently the computer restarted by itself and now displays a C6 Q code error light, preventing it from booting. I've tested six different memory sticks one at a time without any improvement. The BIOS was flashed and CMOS reset, but nothing changed. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Try reseating the CPU because the connection might have broken. Clean the old paste and remove the cooler. Take out the CPU, apply fresh paste (get some if needed), reattach the cooler, and retry. If the system runs smoothly with working RAM, it’s likely a CPU problem. If issues persist, it could be a board fault. Follow these steps and return when you see improvement.

Tomorrow I'll attempt it—it's a complete custom loop, which may require some time. I'll inform you once it's done. Appreciate your patience.
