Comparing your setup to the top models reveals higher frequency options for each. I considered benchmarks showing 3200MHz vs 3600MHz configurations giving an edge to the higher MHz kits on Ryzen 3000. I imagined upgrading your HyperX model from 2666MHz CL13/16 to 3200MHz CL18 and testing it on an ASRock board, but it seemed to limit G.Skill’s 3200MHz to 2933MHz CL16. Running 3200MHz in your Intel system could boost performance noticeably without major issues. It might make the Ryzen run faster while keeping the impact minimal.

In terms of latency, they're comparable and will behave alike in practice.

I observed several benchmarks comparing 3600MHz CL18 against 3200MHZ CL16, showing the higher MHz model performing better. This suggests that a 2800MHz CL16 could match or exceed 3000MHZ CL17 and 3200MHz CL18, but the top clock speeds in the final setup still provide an edge.

3200 seems to work better in these situations. As I mentioned earlier. Between the 3600 and the 3200 models.

Absolutely, gaming is a big part of it. However, for everyday tasks you're likely correct.
