The setup remains unclear to you. I mentioned checking a sense pin before turning on the power supply. Try connecting the two pins together as shown in the example—I do this often in my lab for quick verification. Another method is counting four pins from the connector side when the clip is facing you; the clip is visible in the video. Please let me know if this helps. These connectors follow a standard design, so using them correctly will work fine. Just make sure the power supply is off before testing. After confirming, tell us whether the PSU powers up or not. This will help determine if it’s dead.

Don't forget to detach the CPU connector. It won't harm the CPU if you do, but we need to fully separate it first.
