I recently installed a new PC and when I powered it down, there was no power to maintain the headset charging or the motherboard lights were off. It functions properly when running and restarts immediately. I’m using Windows 11 Pro and also enabled Ultra Power Settings.

When you shut down your computer, it stops functioning and stops consuming power. If your motherboard includes charging ports that remain active even when off, they should be clearly labeled. The power options in Windows are not relevant here. Once the computer is turned off, the operating system ceases to run. Could you tell me what type of motherboard you have? Without specific details about the hardware, it's hard to determine compatibility.

You’re trying to shut down the PC, but 5vsb isn’t working because you’re cutting power.

Identify the specific model and verify if BIOS settings allow keeping USB ports active during power-off. Otherwise, USB ports shutting down with power loss is typical.

Start the computer in BIOS, navigate to Settings > Advanced > Wake Up Event Setup. Look for the option "Resume By USB Device." Activate it so devices retain power after shutdown.
