Hello, I own an ASRock A320M HDV R4.0 board with a Ryzen 3 3100 and an ASRock Challenger RX 5500 XT 8 GB. All font cables are plugged in properly, but the system won’t boot and the speaker remains silent. Even after removing both RAM modules, it doesn’t produce the standard three beeps. I’ve tested booting with and without the front panel connectors to rule out connection errors, using only ATX cables, CPU fan, and GPU. The PC doesn’t power on or emit any beeps at all. Any clues about what might be wrong?

Is the system brand new? Has it functioned previously? Was the CPU upgraded or changed in any way?

All parts are brand new; this was intended as the initial start-up.

It’s good to know. You might need to refresh the bios to back the CPU. Even if the board was ready at 3000, the 3100 came later and would still need a bios update to work with it.

Thanks! It was actually the bios section—just made the update and it’s now working.
