OS: None
CPU: i7 12700f (no internal gpu)
GPU: Inno3D RTX 3070Ti iChill
Motherboard: ASRock H610M-HDV/M.2
RAM: 2x TEAMGROUP Elite DDR4 16GB Single (1 x 16GB) @ 3200MHz
SSD: 1TB Kingston NV1 PCIe NVMe M.2
PSU: Zalman ZM700-LXII [700W]
Initially, the PC booted up but no display signal appeared. I tried connecting an HDMI cable to the PC and a monitor (an older model). After reversing the HDMI direction, it worked. I used an external hard drive with Windows, formatted the internal SSD, and powered it off overnight. Today, the issue persists—swapping the cable still doesn’t help. The PC lights up all LEDs and fans, but my laptop boots as a secondary monitor instantly. I removed and reinserted everything except the CPU.

Only the CPU and GPU are connected properly. The cables worked fine after I swapped them yesterday. I turned it off last night, but it didn’t turn on again today despite no changes. I double-checked all connectors now. The PC was assembled and tested at the shop where I bought it, even though I wasn’t there. Without RAM or SSD, it still wouldn’t power up. The only difference is that when I press the power button on the front, it won’t shut down—you have to keep pressing it. With the others, it shuts down with a single click.

It seems you could benefit from switching to a different cable or testing another one.

However, the cable functions on the laptop (which uses a GTX 1050M and is likely several years old) than once more—perhaps it's the issue with the cable...

It might also serve as the connector, though unlikely. Consider checking for any harm and remove any debris if present.
