Hi, I’m working on fixing an old server with an ASRock IMB151D. When it starts up, the CPU fan runs for about 30 seconds, then makes a short beep before shutting off and restarting. After replacing the RAM sticks twice with working ones, I removed the CMOS battery and power cable, held the power button, and still faced issues. It seems there might be a problem with the board itself. Any advice or suggestions would be really helpful.
Based on what I understand, it features an Intel J1900 processor, DDR 3 RAM, multiple memory modules, and a 500GB hard drive. This page provides details about the board and CPU, indicating they are designed for advanced users rather than general consumers. It may not be readily available anymore. https://www.asrockind.com/en-gb/IMB-151D
It only had one stick in at a time, unsure which slot was A1. I’ve tested it in both of them. The other RAMs I’ve used are from two old Dell laptops—one Samsung M471B5273EB0-CKO and another Dell model (cn-0v1rx3-70166-223-04mv).
