I recently purchased a Gigabyte b550 gaming x v2 with Ryzen 7 5700G. Assembled the system and powered it on, but I see no display—just a black screen, fans spinning, RAM lights up. I attempted to update the BIOS to f10 (first compatible with Ryzen 5000 series) and f15.a, the newest version. The motherboard seems updated but still shows nothing. Only shutting down the power supply resolves the issue; the PSU is an Enermax MaxProII, 400W. Anyone know what’s going on? Edit 1: The PC restarts until RAM appears, sometimes it fails and fans keep spinning. Edit 2: It stopped restarting but still no display. Edit 3: It keeps restarting randomly, like every 5 minutes after I told it wasn’t working. – Champxw May 1, 2022

Check for any error lights or beep codes on your motherboard. These indicate issues like power problems, fan failures, or chipset errors. Refer to your manual for specific codes.

It seems there are no components visible on this board. Every time I power it up, it restarts repeatedly. I’ve removed all the front panel cables except the USB 3.0 port, but it still won’t restart. No progress yet.

Check if a speaker is connected to the motherboard and if it displays a numeric or letter-based indicator.

I'll test another RAM module to check if it's the problem, though none of these appear to fit.
