I placed an order for a 4070 Super from ZOTAC, purchased through Amazon with shipping, and installed it. I didn’t receive any post. After about 45 minutes of attempts, I encountered a stkernal.exe error. The system would restart repeatedly, moving toward the Windows Recovery option, then booted back to the desktop where everything functioned properly. During this time, I created a fresh Windows installation USB but the PC would freeze afterward, preventing any post from appearing. I didn’t alter the CPU or RAM settings; I only removed the 3060 and installed the 4070 Super. My previous 3060 worked fine with it, but now it doesn’t. I’ve reset the CMOS multiple times each time without success. I’m stuck and don’t know what to do—I suspect the issue isn’t with the card itself. The PSU I tested was from BestBuy three weeks ago and was still working until today. I need urgent assistance with the RM850x Corsair power supply.

The board features two 16-pin slots; consider using the lower one. If issues persist across several cards, it's likely a motherboard problem rather than a GPU fault. The lower slot might only support x4 connections but can still provide output—test it out and share the results.

I believe I accidentally moved the RAM during the GPU setup. I removed and reinserted it, and now it starts up smoothly without any problems or freezes.
