No possibility to fix installation version 11
No possibility to fix installation version 11
I planned to perform a repair install since some features of my current 11 seem faulty, like occasional Windows update failures. However, when launching any ISO, mounting it on a virtual drive, or running the setup from a USB, I only get: my specifications don’t seem that crucial. TPM2 and Secure Boot are active just for reference. I managed to fix the install, though with limited results recently... I’ve also run SFC and DISM repair options more than sufficient. "No corruption was detected."
Hmm, it seems you're having trouble reinstalling Windows while using it. For a fresh start, try booting from the USB drive and using the BIOS menu or setting your USB as the first boot option. Or, you can use the "Reset this PC" option in System Settings > Recovery to preserve your files.
I can handle repair installations while preserving files, programs, and settings. Previously, this was possible even when using USB IS, though that feature appears to be gone now. I’m aware of "reset the machine" and clean install alternatives. My system hasn’t undergone a clean install since 2015—most of the settings and files remain unchanged, which is why I prefer keeping everything intact unless absolutely necessary.
