On NA I experience roughly 90 ping, while EUW has around 120. I could join El Mehico with 70ping, but the players there seem really poor. Welcome to New York—Riot doesn’t care about the East coast.

I played on LAN when I used LOL. The ping was 12, but getting D2 felt more satisfying.

New York offers great access to servers, but Riot won’t create two NA servers—definitely not a smart move. CLG faced 110 ping for a while and everyone agreed it was unplayable.
