Curious about anyone with a PIA account. Have you seen those PIA speeds drop noticeably lately? Through my ISP, I'm seeing 175Mbps x 15mbps. Not the fastest, but it's the best available in my area. With PIA, none of the servers I've used have hit 15x8Mbps. Today is particularly slow at just 3x8Mbps. I've tested this across multiple PIA servers both locally and nearby, with ping times ranging from 67 to 90ms. In general, my average has been around 8x8Mbps most days lately. How has PIA performed for you?

I function reliably 90% of the time. Occasionally there are delays or server changes, but everything works well most of the time. I've been using PIA for roughly four years now.

Uncertain how to explain. Used FL (east coast) with 45D/11U. Payment is around $150 down, but feels a bit slow for regular use.

Florida is roughly a ten-hour drive from me, which has been the most convenient option recently. Places like Atlanta, Chicago, Texas, Houston, and Denver all felt less appealing. I used to get around 75D/12U, but I haven’t seen that level since late last year.

PIA functions well for me. Being on Vancouver Island gives quicker links to Seattle compared to Vancouver since of course raisins. Probably because the path from Victoria, BC to Seattle is faster than the one to Vancouver—but honestly, I’m just going with what works. We charge $300 down and $20 up, and using PIA’s Seattle server brings us near full performance, which looks great.

Usually I reach my advertised internet speeds even when using the VPN.

It seems things have improved quite a bit lately. Previously, I'd typically go down about 60 to 80 and up 5 to 10, but now I rarely fall below 200 down and 10 up.

That’s really frustrating. I’m confused about why I’m not seeing the same performance. I just removed and reinstalled PIA, but it still isn’t working.

Thank you for your reply. After reviewing my system, I realized I had forgotten to install the "GameFirst V" software that came with the utility drivers. The network monitor within this program was limiting my stream and file transfer speeds to 16x2Mbps. Removing it improved performance significantly. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention so I could avoid assuming it was PIA.
