No pantalla a monitorear
Hi, my PC has been running smoothly for about a month now. I recently played Cyberpunk and then went to work. When I tried to boot it again, it showed a blank blue screen that appeared a few times before. I fixed it by simply turning the PC on and off. This time, it restarted itself, and when it came back on, my RGB lights turned on and the fans started, but no game was displayed on the screen. I tried restarting, checked the cables, used a different HDMI cable, and even swapped out the monitor’s power cable, but nothing changed. I’m looking for advice from anyone who might help!
Specs:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Elite
- GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 4080 TUF Gaming OC
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB
- CPU: Intel Core i7 13700K
- PSU: EVGA Supernova 850W G2 Gold
- Cooler: Corsair iCUE H115i Elite 280mm RGB AIO
On the Z790 Aorus Elite Rev 1.0, four debug LEDs are located on the right side beneath the USB 3 header and beside the USB C header. Check if any are illuminated.
It seems the upper-right LED displays a yellow/amber hue, but it occasionally shifts to the upper-left light for a brief moment before returning to the top-right. Based on your description, it appears the top-left might represent the CPU and the top-right could indicate the DRAM.
CPU is on the left upper corner and DRAM is at the top right. I might want to swap the RAM first—take it out and then put it back.
Have you attempted inserting a single stick, ensuring each is placed individually if the initial attempt fails?
It might be due to a faulty stick, poor compatibility between them, or limitations of the CPU memory controller when handling four sticks with XMP enabled. What is the expected speed rating for these sticks? Were they purchased together in one set or in individual kits?
The RAM is Corsair Vengeance RGB (2x16GB) at 5600MHz CL40 DDR5. I have two identical kits. My PC only boots with both in A1 and B1; if I swap them to A2 and B2, it fails. When I initially used the same sticks in A1 and B1, only one stick was recognized in B1 while the other wasn't. I’m unsure if the issue lies with the RAM slots on the motherboard or with the specific sticks themselves, or perhaps a power supply problem. I used an EVGA Supernova 850W G2 Gold from seven years ago in my new build, which worked well for weeks without shutdowns, so I’m not entirely confident about this setup.
