Purchased the Asus VG27AQGL1A at the start of 2022, but couldn't understand why the monitor wouldn't show anything until Windows started. Although I was running an older Founder's Edition GTX 1070, I recently switched to an RTX 3080 10GB and still face this issue. I've reset the system, toggled CSM settings, tried a different cable, but it keeps displaying a blank screen until Windows logs in.
Ensure your GPU functions with DP on Windows to confirm the connection works. Then review your motherboard specifications; if the BIOS doesn’t recognize DP at startup, use an HDMI or alternative port until Windows initializes and activates the GPU drivers.

Unfortunately, this doesn't fix my 3080 completely. It seems I need to reach out to Gigabyte for help. It looks like they might provide a different solution since GSync over DP isn't working. If I disable the GSync setting through the monitor settings, the display is still detected via DP.
I'm working with a Gigabyte G32QC screen paired with an Asus Tuff RTX 3080 10GB using factory default V-BIOS on an Asus B660 board over DP. It functions properly from BIOS to Windows. The monitor supports FreeSync and it's active, yet the display behavior remains consistent. Even when enabling the iGPU or switching to a secondary HDMI monitor, the DP connection stays active as the default for BIOS-to-Windows output. The system is secured with Secure Boot and runs Windows 11. One suggestion is to verify the DP cable is connected to the first DP port—based on viewing from the back, it should be the leftmost port.
Check for the latest VGA BIOS updates and newer monitor firmware versions.
I have iGPU activated but no connection detected. It's powered on since certain applications automatically switch to the iGPU instead of the dedicated GPU. Yes, my UEFI is set to modern mode with no CSM, SecureBoot, or Windows 10 WHQL enabled, and I'm running Windows 10. My machine is a Zotac RTX 3080 Trinity White Edition, and I won't alter the vBIOS. According to GPU-Z, I have the most recent version (94.02.42 or similar). The unusual behavior is that after a restart, the system might randomly display the Windows Boot Screen.
