Hello, I've switched from a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 7 5700X on my Asus Prime B450 MKII. Now the system shows no boot and displays compatibility info, but it still won't start. It says compatible with the 5000 series and confirms motherboard support online. What should I do next? Should I flash the BIOS or reinstall the other CPU to update it? Maybe resetting the CMOS helped—my RAM was at 3200 MHz and that might be causing issues. The board doesn’t have boot LEDs, but all lights work normally. Thanks for your guidance!

Consider upgrading the firmware. The 5700X was released after the other 5000 models, meaning it could need a different BIOS version even though it claims compatibility with the 5000 lineup.

I might start by refreshing the BIOS using a flashback method. This seems likely to fix the issue. If that fails, reinstall the previous CPU and attempt the BIOS update again.

Pixelfie is accurate; the 5700X requires BIOS version 3211. Restore the previous CPU and refresh the BIOS settings.

Didn't you refresh the system settings before installing the new processor? It works, but it wasn't included with the device. Make sure you're using the most recent firmware.
