Swap out the existing RAM, fully reinstall the BIOS, then insert the new RAM. Occasionally performance issues or problems like this can prevent posting. I experienced this with a machine that had XMP enabled; after adding another stick of RAM, it wouldn't post. It's usually simple to remove the old RAM, reset the BIOS to defaults, and then install the new one—works perfectly afterward.

He confirmed it too. The computer didn’t share any updates after he took out the new stick, leaving only the old one. That means he can’t even reach the BIOS anymore.
