No output during startup
No output during startup
Hello, new poster! I’m setting up a build for a friend and everything seems to be working initially. But when I power on the PC, there’s no display. I spent hours checking the PSU and even swapped it out, but the issue persists. After disconnecting the PSU for a few minutes and reconnecting it, the system boots normally. I can run tests and use it as usual. However, when I restart, the Windows chime plays but the display remains off in both Windows and BIOS until I power down again. I’ve checked RAM, GPU, and other components—still nothing. The only clue is that the motherboard might be faulty. It’s puzzling since everything functions well under load until I reboot. This is the weirdest problem I’ve faced. Any ideas?

Support ohYou if you hear a Windows chime and believe the PC is starting up. Test it with a functional GPU to narrow down the problem. The screen might be faulty, possibly due to power issues while the system remains powered on. Try connecting the display directly from the PC or power source when this occurs.
I completed a new Windows setup and the problem is fixed. Unclear why video output in BIOS stopped working but now it's functioning properly. Edit: Problem reappeared. No success.
