I increased the clock speed of my FX 8350 to 5GHZ and it ran smoothly for a day without any crashes. The following day it failed because of overvoltage, so I reduced the voltage slightly. Now it shuts down when the power is turned on with keyboard and mouse activated, but no display appears on the monitor. I have reset the CMOS several times, changed the BIOS via jumper, and reinstalled the CPU onto the motherboard, pressing the reset and power buttons repeatedly. Despite these efforts, the monitor still doesn’t show anything. Do you know any alternative solutions or is my CPU damaged?

Have you experimented with different cables like VGA, DVI or DVI-D?
I was using DP, so I attempted HDMI but will test the others now.
