I've been looking into ways to fix my PC that won't turn on. The main problem seems to be two parts: no post and no power. When I flip the power switch, the motherboard LED lights up but the fans only spin briefly before stopping. The yellow light from ASUS PRIME Z370-P II looks nice, but I'm not sure about its function. I've tried reseating RAM and the CPU, and even tried booting from scratch. I'm unsure what else to do or what might be wrong.
Typically a few cables are not secure, so inspect all necessary cables, disconnect them, and reattach carefully. It’s also useful to check the manual that came with the motherboard—some models include EZ-DEBUG LEDs (ASUS often does), and if present, observing which one illuminates can help identify the issue.
