It's annoying and requires effort, offering no extra information. It also causes everything to appear unclear. How do developers claim it's a solid concept? For MGS: V Ground Zeroes, you can't disable it without also shutting down other options.

It feels similar to an immersive experience, though realism isn't always the goal. For casual enjoyment of scenery, DOF can be useful. DOF offers effects like motion blur, and opinions vary—personal preference matters.

I really enjoy DoF D, particularly the bokeh effect in it—it really sparks my desire to capture something beautiful.

It's around 25GB, not too large.

In games it doesn't really matter much unless it's part of a scene. For movies it seems significant because it offers the director an extra advantage, another way to tell the story.

It varies by game. Some offer solid DOF while others fall short, so I adjust accordingly. I still think the DOF at ground zero is problematic. There’s no toggle option like in many other titles, and it also causes the main character to blur during certain moments—something I particularly disliked.
