Did you already save any of the game files? I understand Origin checks existing files during download and displays speed in MB/s. I've noticed this when I rebuilt my BF3 and BF4 installs. It might just be me, and I haven't checked a system monitor while downloading.
I wasn't sure about that. It seems @ Levent was correct when he mentioned the uncompressed file size. Using his details, I estimated the download would be about 10.47GB, not the 12.57GB Origin claimed. My guess proved right. The actual download came in around 10.5GB at roughly 74MB per second. However, Origin only reports the larger uncompressed size, which makes it look like a bigger file than it is. This means the real speed needed to match the reported rate would be faster for the same time. When I looked at my network afterward, it was near 10.8GB. That number includes all traffic except Origin's, so it's an overestimate but still below the 12.57GB figure.
