On a tighter budget? It’s not the best moment to chase good offers on any title. The Witcher III is a solid choice, but wait until it drops to $11.99 for the base version or $14.99 for the GOTY Edition. The Witcher III (base game, hundreds of hours). It recently sold for $11.99 between late July and August 1st. The GOTY Edition (with all DLCs) also hits $14.99 in the same period. As seen before, these prices will come back soon. In 2019 they’ve reached this price every month. You’ll need to treat each game this way unless you’re lucky with a money tree or something similar.
I also suggest grabbing Half Life 2 when it drops to $0.99, and while you’re at it, grab Estranged Acts I & II on Steam—they’re both free and considered some of the top PC games of 2019. Especially impressive at 1440p with a steady 144 fps.
Thank you for the response. I was considering purchasing Witcher 3 during the sale but wasn't sure if it was still a good deal. I might have missed out on playing it on console.
If you enjoy RPGs, you should check out Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3.
The narrative is intense, and decisions made in the earlier titles will shape the results in the final game.
Transfer your save file and character from the first game to the subsequent ones.
If you have them set up, it’s a good idea to download the latest texture packs—they really enhance the visuals.
These games demand a lot of time, around hundreds of hours.
They’re also quite outdated; they’ll run smoothly on basic systems, though they aren’t terrible in appearance.
