Since version 2.0 it has been quite problematic. It frequently fails to respond. I receive numerous alerts even after disabling them. The same alerts repeat, so leaving your machine on overnight means closing around eight notifications urging an update. The update button rarely works due to issues on my PC, often caused by something unexpected appearing during the night. You can't proceed until it's quarantined. Anyone else has a negative experience with the new Malwarebytes?

Yeah, what works today might not be the best later on.

The interface is poor, though I have no issues with it.

I don't have any of the issues you mentioned. If malwarebytes finds something on your PC that can't be removed or quarantined, try booting in safe mode without networking after updating mbam and run a custom in-depth scan. If the issue continues, you may need to reinstall Windows or use a bootable antivirus CD/USB for a thorough check.

I tested it last week on a PC that needed repair, and I saw a big change. The "scan now" pictures resemble those suspicious website ads that lead to malware, making people cautious before clicking.

Oh wow, you're right. I didn't pay much attention to AV. When I opened it, I was suddenly hit with a new interface—clicked the "Scan" tab and it froze. Then it un-froze, but when I tried to close it, it froze again.

I don’t really like the new interface much. Apart from that, there’s nothing negative to mention.

That interface is really poor quality. It’s terrible, so I assumed my box was infected and installed a fake malwarebytes. The UI designer behind this mess should face serious consequences—publicly humiliated and punished.

This was my first impression after switching to the newest release. Except for the interface, everything ran smoothly without any issues.

Malwarebytes has consistently performed well for me, even now.
