Is the difference still there? It might explain why performance changes so much... Your HD7950 now runs at 12fps extra, while your older 2600K 4690+290 increased by 10fps.

The details in my profile boost performance by roughly 20 to 30 frames per second. At ultra 1080p it stays steady near 100 fps.

I gained 10 extra frames per second, which was fine at first, but then the game crashed and stopped working, so I switched back to DX11. I haven’t played it since, maybe they fixed my issue.

I believe a 2GB card is limited to Medium or High texture settings, which prevents it from using more VRAM and causes it to switch to a swap file.

I might have achieved around 5 to 10 frames per second, perhaps. However, whenever I attempt the mantle, the game freezes after about 3 to 5 minutes.

what you received with your r9 270x is typical for that hardware. Running bf4 at stock speed usually caps around 24 fps, which is normal. Your fx6300 might not be powerful enough for smoother performance at full settings—especially with limited VRAM. Switching to lower or higher frame rates helps, but you still face stuttering when using the highest settings. Upgrading to a 3GB or 4GB card would make a big difference. After adjusting bf4 settings via user.cfg, you achieved around 35 fps with stable performance. That’s a positive result!

It looks like there are problems with 2GiB storage or GCN1.0 cards causing frame lag spikes. Using an older "phenom 2" 840 (an Athlon 2) helped a lot, and it improved my FPS on the 7870. However, occasional fps drops still occur.
