No one plays Remember Me anymore.
I was browsing my Steam collection when I discovered Remeber Me, a purchase from the summer sale. It’s a solid title with an engaging narrative. The visuals were impressive for a 2013 release, and the setting of Neo Paris was stunning. It’s curious how few people recall this game despite its title. I really enjoyed it, but do you know anyone else has played it?
It suffered from several poor design decisions, mostly mechanical. The combo system was quite simple, and platforming sometimes felt overly straightforward and even pointless. Boss battles often seemed to target specific weaknesses. Still, there were some interesting features, and I really enjoyed the experience. The memory rewind function impressed me, the story was decent, and the visuals were solid—though a few areas felt incomplete, like the big robot section. Some themes and settings stood out positively. I also appreciated the commercials that appeared during your playthrough. As for the cover art, I appreciate it, though third-wave feminists have criticized the community. I’d love to see more engaging female characters beyond just forced additions like Nilin, Jade, and Zoë.
