I've been considering swapping my CPU for a Ryzen 5800X and keeping my MSI x470 Gaming Pro Carbon until I can afford the Mobo. I understand the BIOS update is still in beta for 5000 series CPUs, but what do people report about their experiences so far? Is it worth the investment? Does it perform well? Are the performance gains noticeable?

It seems the issue isn't due to compatibility, since most AM4 chipsets support the 5000 and it works physically.
