No one is sure, but the high demand for X570 motherboards likely stems from their popularity in gaming and performance builds.

I purchased one from box.co.uk and noticed they have a large inventory there.

I was just browsing pcpartpicker and Google, seeing some items out of stock, maybe because of the coronavirus situation?

Supply is being affected by the pandemic and strong demand. Right now, AMD's sales are nine times that of Intel, indicating a very high market interest.

I saw a lack of items in several stores. I was looking for the Aorus Elite WIFI edition but couldn't locate it. I ended up choosing the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge instead.

No, neither of us believes the stock shortage will be resolved in November later this year.

It's difficult to determine. However, it seems like the answer is probably yes.

In the past four to five months, production has increased and I think this shortage won’t last long after the pandemic. Also, because of the Christmas season and the pandemic, stock levels dropped before things improved. Since then, demand from last Christmas sales and the ongoing coronavirus situation likely slowed production significantly. It’s disappointing, but hopefully things will pick up in a few months.
