I'm currently on page 7... Upgrading to 8.1 is planned after a scheduled change... It won't be possible right away due to compatibility concerns with many of my files...

I actually like the start menu. Once you customize it to fit your needs, it's a lot more practical than the Start menu of Windows 7. Here's mine , which has my 6 most used things at the top, random junk in the middle and the settings at the bottom. Except for the whole alphabetical BS for the All apps menu, that's garbage and I wish I could change that without a third party tool. As for the whole privacy stuff I use Anti Beacon , by Spybot. I have yet to run into any software that isn't compatible with Windows 10, if it works on Win7/8/8.1, there's no reason it wouldn't work on Win10. The next big update in November will also add a lot of new functionality, that were seriously missing, like being able to change the color of the Title bar of explorer windows...

As mentioned before, it's waiting a bit longer until it's nearly done. Likely to adjust by the new year though.
