It looks like the 970 comes pretty near, while the Titan Black is nearer to the 980. That suggests you should be fine.

I completely agree, I just ran for two hours at full settings—1080p, 60 fps—without any stutters on my GTX 780. Ten minutes later, Sli stopped working in my driver update.

Has anyone experienced issues with vats? I haven't reached any numbers below 50%, I've never hit once, and I've taken shots of 50 or more.
