I possess an i5-13400F (step C0) and just upgraded my BIOS from December's 1602 to July's 1661. The microcode remains unchanged at version 0x125, which is normal since the chip doesn't support eTVB. Still, TDC Current limits, CPU Load-Line calibration, and CEP settings have been modified. I believe this latest release may introduce additional adjustments, but I'm cautious about adopting a beta BIOS update—especially when I'm unsure if it's essential for a rebadged Alder Lake CPU Thx ahead of time!

I own an i5 13400 with Asus Prime B760-Plus D4. I haven't run extensive tests, but between 1661 and 1662 the VID request was noticeably reduced; the VID didn't exceed 1.2. This wasn't a major testing session—just a brief check on HWinfo64 while playing CPU-heavy games. So don't consider this a serious observation. Overall, it functions adequately so far. My system also has a C0 die.
