Hey there, I'm a 15-year-old who still remembers my first Dell. Those games like Heroes of Might and Magic IV and III were huge favorites back then. Anyone else played them or Warrior Kings? I really love those titles still! I’d love to chat about them with anyone here if you’ve had the chance.

I tried a short session of HMM but didn't go deep into it.

Yeah, Heroes of Might and Magic was one of my favorites. I used to play the fourth version with a friend after we got tired of Diablo 2. I played it a lot. I also remembered how much time I spent on Red Alert 2—I played it for months.

My favorite "classic" is stunts. I played it all my life as a child, making up your own tracks was amazing. Now it's free software and there are still websites and competitions.

I enjoyed playing Heroes 3 with my brother a lot when we had time. The game was really great, though we weren’t very skilled at building strategies or anything specific. We also tried the In The Wake of Gods community expansion, which let us tweak many settings and rules. It brought a fresh perspective to the game. For instance, in the vanilla version it let you move units before battle, and leveling them up expanded that range. In the expansion you could adjust it to act as a direct speed boost for units, with higher levels giving more speed. There are extensive rulebooks packed on top of each other for customization. At first it felt a bit too complex. The game also let your hero function like a ground unit. I experimented with the level editor but never created polished maps—I just made small changes for fun.

Hey there! I really enjoyed HOMM 3, but HOMM 4 is definitely my top pick. The soundtracks there bring back so many memories, making me feel nostalgic and even emotional.
