Yeah so I had a spill on an OP-1 synth but its just olive oil. You think I should try clean this up or not worth the hassle? Most the excess is gone but theres still some build up around the chips but the biggest issue is one of the knobs is acting up. There a way to clean in the knobs?

I would personally clean up any residue, especially if there's any bridging occurring. For the knobs, you might be able to get alcohol down into it(ethyl alcohol) to remove anything stuck within the switch.

Make sure to remove as much debris as you can. Olive oil is safe for electronics, though it will eventually spoil like other plant oils.
