You’ve configured the port on both UDP and TCP, added it to the Ignite settings with port 25565, but it’s still refusing to open.

I checked the area and realized I don’t have a fixed IP address, which makes port forwarding difficult. I’m deciding to invest in one instead.

You don’t have to pay for setting up a static to port forward. Your friend runs a server and only shares their IP address when it updates.
