No one else left for Armored Core 6 yet. I just updated my Steam order today!
No one else left for Armored Core 6 yet. I just updated my Steam order today!
Pre-orders are now open on Steam, the GamePlay trailer has been released, and it looks impressive. I’ve always enjoyed Mech games—Hawken was a big favorite (though sad to see it gone), MechWarrior was a staple, and I started with the original Mech Assault as a kid. What do you think about the new Armored Core? The pre-order window is still a few months away, with a scheduled release on August 25, 2023. I’m not sure if three full months is enough time to decide.
I won't even buy it until I'm sure all the early shits are mostly ironed out. Too many lousy launch lately. As for excitement... I am somewhat half excited and half afraid I guess ? I know FromSoftware made good games, but I'm kinda sick of souls esque game lately, and kinda sick of a game where I need to read every damn description to reach JUST an ambiguous result of a storyline. (Gawd I hope that makes sense, idk how to explain it better)
Armored Core stands apart from Souls in every way. It's an intense, high-speed mech combat experience packed with explosions everywhere. Check out the gameplay from Armored Core 5 Team Deathmatch over ten years ago.
They're revisiting a past franchise from FromSoftware. Expecting to hear what others think about the gameplay, especially the Armor Core mechanics. Still holding onto the hope for an updated Lost Kingdoms title. Perhaps one day they'll return to that series.
