Exploration is one of the things I found least compelling about it. There's so much city, but most of it just feels empty. There's a lot of traveling to do between missions, but very little unique things to discover. There are police reports and whatnot, but they're basically all the same. Go in, shoot some guys, done. The main story is ok, but not that special. I found Dogtown to be a lot more interesting. I think the primary reason I liked Dogtown better is because the area is smaller and denser, so you're not just walking through a lot of nothing.
Yeah, I didn't say it's a bad game, but it's lacking in many aspects (including the so called "graphics", it looks ok, it's serviceable, but def not worth it buying 3090 caliber cards for etc...) and the repetitive "missions" etc. it's really more point and click (with long walks or drives in-between) instead of "action"... OW at it's heart is really more like a japanese hack n slash (just play genji lol) disguised as "shooter" ... the "lore", the skins, the completely over the top ults... the voice lines... "mada mada" ...
It looks more like a Disney-style experience for pre-teens to me.
They have solid graphics technically, but the design leans heavily on expansive deserts and open areas that don’t really highlight their strengths. The texture quality is also average compared to other titles, likely due to the sheer size of the world. The DLC stands out more than the main game, offering a tighter, more focused experience. While I enjoyed the main story, the middle content feels repetitive and uninteresting.
