Hey, I'm looking for a liquid CPU cooler that fits my setup. My case only has space for two 120mm fans, so I need something compact. I want to keep temperatures down when running at 4.4GHz or more. Right now I'm using prime95 at 4.2GHz for about five minutes and it's still hot. Any recommendations would be really helpful.

Hey there, if you're searching for a solid AIO at a fair price for your chip, I’d suggest going for either a 240mm or 280mm radiator similar to those found in Corsair h100i v2 h105i or h110i. Fractal Design offers a really stylish 240mm cooler, while nzxt has the Kraken x61 and the new Kracken x62. Any of these options should handle a 4ghz Haswell chip well. In my view, they’ll run a bit better than Evo and be quieter too. They also look cleaner and more attractive. Check out all of them online, pay attention to the hoses and pumps, and see which ones fit your build style if you care about appearance. The older Corsair pumps like the regular h110i, 100i or the GTX version have a distinct look and feel.

Check the Prime version mentioned in section 12 of the provided link. It seems a low temperature isn't achievable with an AIO cooler.

It's version 28.9 and pasting that link takes 5 seconds before nothing appears.

That sounds intriguing! I'll check if I can go to an earlier release and re-test. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks.

I downloaded version 26.6 and used it for 12 minutes with a maximum temperature of 79 degrees Celsius. I had to halt it at 12 minutes because CPU 1 was showing a hardware failure error. That doesn't sound good. I'm curious if my PSU is the issue.

Run the Intel Processor Diagnostic tool
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloa...ostic-Tool
Have you verified all system voltages while under load? Occasionally it may generate false errors, even though it signals an issue in one of your cores. Is this a significant concern? Perhaps.

I think there’s another great option out there, but these are some solid ideas.

I executed the diagnostic tool and it confirmed the CPU performed well, staying below 100% load at 68 degrees Celsius.
