I just completed my first configuration and still don’t see a POST. Power comes through via the system, with LEDs turning on from fans, GPU, RAMs—both sticks support RGB. When only the power cable is connected, the cooler shows a red warning and the motherboard power button turns red. Pressing the case power button triggers debug LED codes that rapidly change through several values before resetting and restarting the loop. The motherboard manual mentions these codes: during normal boot 12–14, certain areas are reserved; there’s an error range 50–55 related to memory initialization, and only one code (54) appears. I tried re-seating the RAM sticks but got no improvement. Leaving just one stick in didn’t help either. Any suggestions on what to try next? Here are your specs: CPU Intel i7-12700K, motherboard GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS PRO, RAM Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 5600MHz, GPU ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF GAMING, PSU Seasonic Focus GX (80+ Gold, 850W), cooler Corsair H150i ELITE, SSD Samsung 980 PRO 1TB PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2, case Corsair 5000D AIRFLOW, plus four iCUE ML120 fans.

The memory purchased at the QVL is linked to that board.

First I’d attempt one stick in each memory slot. Use both sticks until you either cover all 8 options or the system starts up. The current issue is the memory not training properly, which at idle can mean many things. It might be your CPU’s memory controller is faulty and won’t function. There could be defective RAM sticks requiring a return to manufacturer. It’s possible the motherboard BIOS has trouble with that specific memory type and can’t complete the training. Another chance is a damaged trace on the board. The best approach is to narrow the problem by testing known working components. Updating the BIOS via BIOS Flashback could be useful and may help the system boot.

It looks like you're suggesting updating the software for improved memory support.

The memory is listed in the QVL for the board. I verified it before purchasing and confirmed it again recently.

It might help to refresh your profile if it hasn't been updated yet, as @SupaKomputa suggested

I checked how to do that because I wasn’t familiar with it before.

That's correct. After the update, I received a POST response. Thank you.
