Hey everyone, I'm facing an issue with my 3400g processor. It only reaches up to 3699MHz under heavy load. PBO is enabled in BIOS and Ryzen Master, but it still doesn't push past the base clock. My specs are: Ryzen 5 3400g @37.0x multiplier (auto), 1.20Vcore, 1.1vSOC. The motherboard is MSi B450 Gaming Plus with Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM at 3466MHz (overclocked). The PSU is Corsair VS 450 and it stays under 75°C during gaming or bench work. How can I get it to boost higher?
It’s standard for Ryzen CPUs to run in auto mode, which is typical for their design. Reducing the clock speed might limit the processor’s power, potentially preventing it from reaching higher performance levels. I think the Ryzen 5 3400G offers a full core boost of 4 GHz, so that should be the target setting.
