Order placed for PSU and new RAM is coming. I’m still inside the return window for the motherboard and CPU, so I’m weighing whether to swap parts early or wait. I haven’t booted in total on Tuesday, but after several tries I’ve stopped trying. It’s unclear how many times I attempted it.

While yes, the second-hand power supply seemed like a bad choice. It often takes a long time to finish booting a fresh build for memory training... I initially assumed my DOA board was still active after assembling my i7-12700K... when I turned it on, I can't recall exactly what lit up the debug LEDs back then. However, I believe the DRAM LED stayed on and then the screen went black. I restarted a few times but eventually gave up and went to another room to check RMA details. I left the new build powered on by accident, and after about 5 to 10 minutes, the PC just stayed on the BIOS setup screen. At this stage, I wouldn't suggest trying it again with the used PSU. Once the QVL RAM and new power supply arrive, be prepared to be patient and wait several minutes for memory training to finish.

It might take around 30 minutes. To be honest, if you're open to a refund, I'd prefer an AM5 model instead.
