It seems like you're asking if the number refers to 150 milibits. Just to clarify, don't feel the need to be overly clever when others are trying to assist you.

It reached a precise limit of 11.33 Mbps. That number was unusual and definitely beyond what my connection could manage. It seems they might restrict bandwidth.

He probably isn't trying to be clever; it seems he doesn't understand how many folks confuse 5Mbps with 5MB/s, especially the small 'm' mix-ups. Lol, who knew?

It's noteworthy that a speed of 11.33MB/s equates to 90.64Mbps, suggesting a possible cap at 100Mbps; you're likely near one of their servers.

This scenario seems realistic. It happened just one hour prior to the launch.

They had significantly less traffic, which is great. I appreciate steam for this reason—20+MB/s regardless of the time, unless the servers are down.

I rarely reach those velocities in Steam. Even the fastest streams run around 50/60+ MB/s.

I still require an SSD for my 1Gbps network, but Steam did drop to around 31 for me.

I meant 5Mbit/s, sorry. I thought internet speeds are usually given in megabits. It seems like the connection might be restricted by something like R* or my campus network. I was more worried about my computer possibly throttling it.
