Some users might need to push harder. Adding extra voltage doesn't seem to lower the CPU's heat. Look at the fan speed, go back to default options, and verify again.

I'm running at 4.3 GHz with an overclock of 1.375V and temperatures around 60°C. I don't have prior readings, but improving cooling could help. My cooler currently sits directly on the RAM, which is visible. Once I upgrade to a better motherboard, I might adjust its placement for better contact.

I'm running at 4.3 GHz with an overclock of 1.375V and temperatures around 60°C. I don't have prior readings, but improving cooling could help. My cooler currently sits directly on the RAM, which is visible. Once I upgrade to a better motherboard, I might adjust its placement for better contact.

The issue is that the fan isn't spinning faster. It stays at the same speed as the stock setting. On stock, boosting causes the CPU voltage to spike to around 1.3v for brief periods. @ragnarok0273 What type of cooler are you using? I own a compact case and have a Hyper 212 with a Noctua NF-A12x25. It's fine at about 65 degrees. Edit: I own an ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING; I previously had a B450 and it performed similarly.

I included images that display temperature, voltage, and frequency right after the Cinebench test. I’m puzzled because the processor isn’t consistently running at higher speeds. I’d like to understand the reason behind this behavior.

Oc or not to OC Ryzen 3000, that's a personal choice depending on your needs. Sometimes it adds little value but isn't always necessary. I usually set the voltage manually. For my use case—lots of music apps, DAWs, VSTs—I really appreciate stable clock speeds. When cores are jumping wildly and causing audio drops, it hurts performance. The biggest perks come from RAM overclocking, especially if you're willing to invest the time.

Manually setting the voltage in BIOS to 1.2v didn’t make much difference—voltage still boosts above 1.3v and doesn’t go beyond 4ghz. Setting a maximum voltage limit for the CPU in BIOS seems like a viable option.
