No monitor signal after CPU oc
So I increased my CPU's speed, saved the data, and the PC restarted as expected, but when it came back on there was no monitor signal. I attempted to clear the CMOS by connecting it in parallel, but it still doesn't show even though the PC is turning on.
This means your CPU overclock attempt failed. Rather than risking damage, remove the battery temporarily. I understand it behaves similarly, but let's try this instead. Disconnect the battery for a short time, then reinstall it. Also, if applicable, unplug the power cable from the power supply and switch off the external power source (if available). Allow it to sit for a few minutes, after which reconnect the power supply and restore the power switch. Once the system responds, you should be able to power it back on through the switch.
I encountered difficulties removing the battery, but after extracting the GPU it functioned properly. However, upon reinstalling, a "No signal" alert appeared. Should I consider replacing the GPU?
