No method exists to retrieve the window's license key from a Windows 7 PC.
I’m preparing to reinstall Windows 10 on my Windows 7 machine and heard you might use the same license key. You can still obtain it without the physical sticker or paper by contacting your retailer or checking your account settings in the new Windows installation.
Open CMD with administrative privileges, then press the key to enter.
Download and set up Windows 10, then navigate to Settings > License and click Troubleshoot. The system will automatically fill in the key you already have from Windows 7. If you need a different key, follow these instructions: 1. Visit the provided link. 2. Paste the code into Notepad and save it as a .vbs file. 3. Execute the file to display the ID and serial numbers.
