No menus in BIOS or loading screen.
Hi everyone. I recently purchased a new PC, an MSI B650-S Pro MB and Gigabyte WindForce 4070 Super. After turning it on, I noticed the loading screen isn't appearing and only shows Windows. When I try to tap the DEL key to enter BIOS or press F11 to select the OS, nothing happens. I'm certain it should go to BIOS because Windows doesn't appear. These issues only happen with the DP port and not with HDMI. I also tried connecting a DP cable to the CPU (Ryzen 5 7600) but the problem persisted. What's going on?
You may require the firmware from NVIDIA, your issues are similar: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/...pdate-tool It might also be that your DP cable is outdated.
The update tool confirmed everything is current. I don’t have any details about the cable because it was included with the monitor.
I don't understand what it means. Sorry, English isn't my first language.
Yes, you need to unplug all connected devices and remove the CMOS battery. Afterward, you’ll likely have to reset BIOS settings again.
The CMOS will definitely reset everything, but unless you have any BIOS settings configured, you probably won’t need to take any action. Before proceeding, try re-seating the GPU and booting up to check if that’s the issue. If that doesn’t resolve it, attempt to re-seat the CPU.
Hey everyone, I didn’t have time to go through the solutions you mentioned. There have been some recent changes—specifically, the CPU and DRAM debug LEDs were taking a few seconds to turn off during startup. At first I thought it was normal, so I didn’t take any action. But starting last week, they stopped turning off instantly, which allowed me to see both screens clearly. It seems the issue might be related to AMD Expo or memory training.
