If it were a fresh title, I wouldn't expect a high price. Yet this game, around three years old, seems to depreciate quickly. I understand the value often drops compared to its development time, especially when considering how much entertainment it offers versus cost. I seldom pay full price for new releases since most are still in beta stages. The Division and No Man's Sky were the last purchases I made at launch; both suffered major issues that only improved later. If they intend this path, they shouldn't charge the full amount upfront. Of course, some responsibility lies with younger audiences—immediate satisfaction is increasingly common, and attention spans are shorter. EA likely does this knowing they can generate significant revenue through microtransactions.
