Hello everyone, I'm setting up a new PC and unsure if my motherboard can handle the pre-installed ARGB case fans. I'm using the MSI MPG SEKIRA 500X with a Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE motherboard. According to MSI's site, the fans are ARGB and require a JRAINBOW header on the board. My motherboard has ARGB headers but no label for JRAINBOW. Will this work with my setup? Do I need a different motherboard or an adapter for the fans to function properly? Thank you in advance for your help.

The Jrainbow headers use a 3-pin design instead of the usual 4 pins. This change affects voltage requirements—previous versions used 12V, while the new ones operate around 5V. Let me know if you're correct about this!

The board does feature a 3-pin RGB header labeled D_LED1, so you can connect your fans to it. However, whether it supports all fan types depends on the specific model and MSI specifications. Double-check the manual or manufacturer guidelines to confirm compatibility before purchasing.
