I began exploring Rust on the YouTube channel frankie, finding it quite enjoyable. I tried purchasing it on Steam but encountered negative reviews everywhere—most claimed the game is now worthless and warned of widespread hacking issues. Is this accurate about the prevalence of cheaters? Are there any active Rust players who can confirm the current situation and whether the community is shrinking rapidly?

It's dull, don't go for it—it's a total waste of money.

I got it later too. Just having someone else join in makes it great again. It seems people still like it. Stay positive.

The community won't disappear quickly, though I've invested around 3.5k hours and recently stopped playing. It isn't too late to jump in. However, some significant updates are coming, so you'll need to adjust fast like everyone else. Still, it's worth a shot. Regarding hackers, they can't be stopped completely. Just steer clear of the official servers—they lack active admins. Stick with community servers that have active ones. One thing to remember is if you're not ready for some of the most annoying people in gaming, you might want to skip it. They'll probably ruin your chances no matter what. Also, the game's performance fluctuates a lot after each update.

It's not about hackers but Rust is a great party game. Unless you're playing with many friends, it'll feel dull. The experience is a massive grinding session where players compete to collect resources, build a basic house, repeat the cycle, and eventually lose to someone else who also ruins your setup. It lasts around 10 hours total.

Don't watch FrankieOnPCin1080p. He's a dishonest liar and a cheater. I first saw him when he began playing CSGO, and his "BHop" video went viral on the global offensive subreddit. He hacks multiple games, including Rust. He's a bad guy.

He’s a total fan of cock mongling. I only discovered him last year, and on that same day I saw the CSGO video you mentioned. It’s really repulsive how many fans act like they’re protecting Frankie, saying he’s just a performer.

i honestly feel like there was never a time to play rust to begin with. everything rust has to offer has been done before, and has been executed better before. and more importantly has been executed in a way where the developer doesnt decide to turn the game in a social experiment using his playerbase as involuntarily guinneapigs to test how racism and sexism works.
