I recently purchased a Z390 Aorus Ultra and a Corsair cx750M. I noticed the PSU doesn’t include a 2x2 power connector. Is this really necessary if I’m mainly clocking the CPU at 5GHz and gaming? Thanks for your advice.

The 4+4 connector is required, the additional 4-pin isn't. The 4+4 already provides 384W, which is more than enough for most users (except those doing extreme LN2 overclocking).
