The Ryzen 7 7800X3D pairs well with an RTX 4070, as per PC-Builds it shows only a minor 13% bottleneck. For accurate assessments, use trusted bottleneck calculators available online.

There are no trustworthy bottleneck calculators available, but 7800X3D stands out as the top gaming-focused CPU on the market, perfect for pairing with any setup you like.

All bottleneck tools are flawed. Avoid using them. If your Ryzen 7 7800X3D pairs well with the RTX 4070, what will you be doing next?

You're focusing on 1080p for gaming and 1440p for video editing.

I could suggest the RX7800XT over the 4070... In general it would cost a bit less, boost performance by about 10% in regular rendering and provide more VRAM (keeping the card useful longer). But you'd lose around 20% of ray tracing power, and you'd have to stick with FSR instead of DLSS. Also, consider checking benchmarks for video editing if you do a lot of that.

@Fluuwu The AMD GPU will include FSR3 and AFMF in the future (AFMF is already available, though I haven't found much success yet), and when used with the 7800X3D it will use Smart Access Memory rather than Resizeable Bar.
