It's fine, by all means experience Linux, it's fun and sometimes exceptionally frustrating. You can even set your computer up so it can boot to either Linux or Windows as you desire (referred to as dual-booting)

i would advise you to play with it a bit by booting from a usb stick (its a option from the install files you put on the usb drive instead of installing it to hdd)
